Saroj Khan Death: Legendary Choreographer Once Opened Up On How Salman Khan Came To Her Rescue When Work Dried Up
Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan breathed her last on July 3, 2020. She was 71 years old. Known as the beloved masterji of Bollywood, Saroj Khan worked with the biggest names from the film industry making them dance to her tunes. She was the one who choreographed most of the iconic songs in the 90s. For almost 40 years, Saroj Khan served the Indian film industry and made a mark for herself. However, there was a time when she did not get work and Salman Khan came to her aide.

In an old interview with Mid Day, Saroj Khan had opened up about her situation and how Salman offered her help. The choreographer had gone to meet the actor at his home and revealed that she does not have work in the industry. To this, Salman stated that she will work with him and choreograph songs in his next films. Saroj was quoted saying, "When we met, Salman asked me what I was doing nowadays. So I told him honestly that I don't have any work, and that I am teaching Indian classical dance to young actresses. Upon hearing that, he said, 'Now, you will work with me'. I know he is a man of his word, so he will keep his promise.”

Reportedly, Saroj Khan worked with Salman in Dabangg 3 post this meeting. The late choreographer's last venture was Kalank in which she worked with her favourite student - Madhuri Dixit. She even choreographed a song featuring Alia Bhatt in Kalank.

May her soul rest in peace. Our heartfelt condolences with her loved ones.  (Also Read: Saroj Khan Demise: Veteran Choreographer's Last Instagram Post Was On Late Sushant Singh Rajput; It's Heartbreaking)
